Through your Alumni Association Membership, you can join a chapter or network to keep informed of career opportunities in your field or simply keep in touch with other alumni.
Accounting and Finance Network
A network of alumni with degrees in accounting was created in 1993 to provide career assistance to students and fellow alumni. Accounting alumni should check the network for information about volunteer opportunities, professional associations in accounting, CPA test requirements, and job opportunities.

Information Technology
A forum for alumni to discuss information technology careers and education. Systems Administration, Network Engineering, IT project management, Help Desk management, running IT data centers, etc. IT certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, Sun (Solaris) Certified Admininstrator (SCSA), Red Hat Linux Certified Engineer (RHCE), CCNA, etc.
Master of International Management (IMAN) Chapter
Formed in 1993 by students and alumni of the UMUC Graduate School of Management & Technology Master of International Management (IMAN) program, the IMAN Chapter maintains an active electronic mailing list and meets regularly to develop members' careers in international business through an extensive network of fellow alumni. Membership is open to all students and alumni of the Master of International Management (MIM) program.

Lonestar Chapter
Formed in 2004, the goal of this chapter is to represent the interests and concerns of the UMUC Lonestar State community while promoting UMUC.

MBA Network
The purpose of the MBA Alumni Network is to foster relationships between its members and the university community by providing opportunities to stay connected with fellow alumni, current MBA students and UMUC faculty through volunteer service, social interaction and philanthropy.

Teacher Education Chapter
Established in 2006, the UMUC Teacher Education Chapter consists of graduates of the Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Education and Alternative Teacher Preparation (Resident Teacher Certification) program. The goal of this chapter is to build, maintain and nurture relationships between the teacher education department and its alumni.
