Teacher Education Chapter Home

The UMUC Teacher Education Chapter established in 2006, consists of graduates of the Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Education, and Alternative Teacher Preparation (Resident Teacher Certification) program.

The mission of the Teacher Education Chapter is to build, maintain and nurture relationships between the teacher education department and its alumni. The mission is accomplished through the development of programs, the coordination of social activities and through the promotion of volunteer opportunities that seek to involve alumni as resources and are consistent with the mission and vision of UMUC and the Teacher Education Department. The Chapter is proud of its many accomplishments and its service offered in support of, and in collaboration with, the UMUC Teacher Education Department and the Alumni Association.
