This award recognizes a UMUC alumnus/a or individual who has effectively promoted involvement in Alumni Association activities and/or made a significant contribution in support of UMUC's mission. In addition, the recipient(s) must meet one or more of the criteria below:

• Demonstrated effectiveness in involving alumni in committee, chapter, or Board activities during the past year; OR
• Went "above and beyond" volunteer efforts for a particular project, event, or association effort; OR
• Made a significant contribution in support of UMUC's mission.
